From 31. May.2009 To 04. June. 2009

During this week I prepared the list of employees for all branches and send it to the medical insurance company to renew the contract for this year (2009) after Mr. Faisal Al Midfa approval. Beside that I worked on the daily administration work, such as: To Whom It May Concern Certificates and check the leave balance for the employees as they requested. In addition, we are started to make new system for the attendance which is finger print.

From 24. May. 2009 To 28. May. 2009

I spent this week working on the air ticket for the staff. For instance: I contacted by emails with Dnata Travel that to provide us the prices of different destination. The email was consist of countries destination with two ways tickets.

From 17.May.2009 To 21.May.2009

During this week I worked on the payroll by check on the attendance sheet, permission forms, and all kinds of leaves. As well I followed up with the finance department regarding the advance salary for the employees because it very important to mention that in the payroll report. Actually, in the beginning I faced some problems to do that, but I solved the problem by calling payroll department in the head office to teach me how I can calculate the payroll.

On the other hand, I did daily administration works for the staff like: To Whom It May Concern certificates, answering on the staff inquiry’s about their leave’s balance and give foreign employees their passports as their requests for different reasons like: annual leave, renew the passport or visa etc.

From 10. May. 2009 To 14. May. 2009

Actually during this week I learned the procedure of Business Trip and I did one for the employee which he had training outside the country. Moreover, I learned how to calculate the End of Service to the resign employee.

From 03. May. 2009 To 07. May. 2009

During this week I start to do some of HR works for the employees such as: To Whom It May Concern certificates and record the leaves in the leaves report. In addition, I sent e-mail for the medical insurance company that’s to introduce myself to them and tell them post me regarding any medical issue about the employees.

From 26. April. 2009 To 30. April. 2009

During this week I joined Sharjah Islamic Financial Service (SIFS) on April, 26th and I took orientation in different departments. In fact, I don’t have that much works, but I checked each personal file for the employees, that are to introducing more about them. Also, from that I learned how I can prepare the personal file for the new joining staff.

Work Placement - Sharjah Islamic Bank

Dubai Women’s College has given us a great opportunity to evolve and develop our skills and knowledge in the real work environment for one or two months.

From 20.April.2009 To 23.April.2009

In fact I joined Sharjah Islamic Bank on Monday 20.April.2009 as a Human Resources Officer and currently I am under training in the Head Office. In the first day I took orientation in Human Resources Department (HR) and I introduced to the employees in different departments such as: Recruitment, Payroll, Training & development and Employees’ affairs. During this week I learned the procedures and process of the following transactions:

Actually, my previous 6th years experience in Emirates Transport plays a major role to facilitate my learning process.
